In my opinion, this image means that the path to success is not an easy one. You have to go through several stages because life is not a long, peaceful river. You have to work hard to achieve your goals and want to improve in order to always do better. We must not be distracted by the problems that may hinder our path. We must never forget the "why" we do all this. And do it with passion or our lives will become a burden.
We often tend to think that people who are sucessful have had an easy life and have been lucky while often they have gone through hard stages in order to be where they are today.
